Australian players are yet to be paid by their IPL teams. They have been bought in the action for several thousands of dollars.
Already Australians have come out in open and said that they have not received their pay cheques. It was found that few Indian players are also yet to receive their salary.
The franchise officials have been awaiting some document clearance from IPL before payments could be released.
The IPL authorities said that it involves lot of paper work and hence it is getting delayed. All of these paper work will be cleared soon. Some players' contract runs to30 pages long and few of them have multiple contracts. So, it involves going through each of them before approving.
It is a matter of time before all of these are sorted it, says IPL committee. With 10 more days to go to the final, all these have to be sorted out!
