Pak Players Not Ready to Accept Younis Khan as Captain!

Younis Khan quit captaincy with the recent match fixing allegations in the Champions Trophy. The PCB Chairman rejected his resignation and appointment him coach till 2001 world cup. The turbulance in the Pakistan camp was put to rest by the PCB!

But, the players had different opinion. A group of players did not accept Younis as their captain.

A section of Pakistani cricketers are reportedly miffed at the PCB's decision to retain Khan, and board insiders said some of the players have made it clear that they do not want Khan to continue as the skipper of the national squad.

"Younis was aware of what was happening behind his back with apparently the approval of manager Yawar Saeed and he played his cards right by using the match-fixing allegations to submit his resignation to Ijaz," The Daily Times quoted sources privy to the PCB, as saying. It was also quoted that Younis Khan's attitude and dominating behavior did not go well with few players.
